The adult inpatient program at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health accepts adults of all genders, age 18 and older. All admissions decisions for our adult inpatient program are made on an individual basis following a thorough review of each prospective patient’s treatment history, needs, and goals.

In general terms, our program is designed for adults who need round-the-clock care to address acute symptoms of mental, behavioral, or psychiatric symptoms. The following are examples of the many disorders and challenges that an adult can receive care for with us:
