As updates on the impact of the coronavirus continue to be released, we want to take a moment to inform you of the heightened preventative measures we have put in place at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Hospital to keep our patients, their families, and our employees safe. All efforts are guided by and in adherence to the recommendations distributed by the CDC.

Please note that for the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff, on-site visitation is no longer allowed at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Hospital.

  • This restriction has been implemented in compliance with updated corporate and state regulations to further reduce the risks associated with COVID-19.
  • Options for telehealth visitation are continuously evaluated so that our patients can remain connected to their loved ones.
  • Alternate methods of communication for other services may be offered when deemed clinically appropriate.

  • All staff has received infection prevention and control training.

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health provides acute inpatient care for adult men and women, age 18 and above, who have been experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges. We also offer focused care for individuals whose primary psychiatric diagnosis is accompanied by co-occurring addiction.

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is an 80-bed center that is located on Hilton Corporate Drive in southwestern Columbus. We’re near Interstate 70, not far from the juncture of I-70 and I-270, and just a short drive from John Glenn Columbus International Airport. 

Our location in central Ohio makes us easily accessible from Dublin, Westerville, Pickerington, Grove City, and several other communities in and around the Columbus-Marion-Zanesville metropolitan area.
